runtastic (13,5 million app downloads) has launched a suite of indoor fitness apps to complement its 4.5+ star rated runtastic PRO running app. The new motion-activated apps for Smartphones & Tablets will improve strength and stamina, tone your major muscle groups and keep you motivated with an increasingly challenging workouts that you can complete quickly in the comfort (and warmth!) of your own home.

There is a push-up, pull-up, sit-up, and squats app for iOS and Android. Up until now runtastic  had primarily developed apps you can use outside to track you activities via GPS. Of course you can use the apps outside as well, but you don’t need GPS to track your activities. The best thing: All of this is done easily. The app and your smartphone automatically detect movement and will measure your repetitions.
